Myunggu Kang is a professor of Urban Planning and Development in the University of Seoul. He attained his doctorate in Urban and Regional Planning and a Master’s degree in City Planning from MIT. He has quality mix of theoretical knowledge and practical experiences of over 25 years in urban and regional planning. He participated in Knowledge Sharing of Seoul Urban Planning Experiences, pre-F/S on an Industrial Complex of Kenya, Evaluation of a Regional Development Project in Laos, Multi-Industry Clusters (MIC) Planning in Philippines, Boston MetroFuture 2030, and Project Management of an Agricultural Produce Logistic Center Construction in Korea. Within the country, he had worked at Samsung Corporation Engineering and Construction Group as an Architectural Engineer from 1995 to 1998. And after the period in US, from 2013 to 2014, he worked at the Seoul Metropolitan Government as a Director-General of International Urban Development Collaboration.
