Nabil M. Chaherli is an agricultural economist with over 30 years of experience at the World Bank and CGIAR. He is the lead author of the Climate and Development Report (CCDR) for CAR. He has led transformative initiatives in Africa, the Middle East, North Africa, as well as Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on climate-smart agriculture, transforming food systems, and economic resilience. Nabil holds a PhD in agricultural economics from the University of Illinois.
