Nadim Saghir works for the Disaster Risk Management Unit at the World Bank and focuses on developing strategies and implementing projects aimed at enhancing countries’ resilience to natural disasters and the impacts of climate change. He has experience in executing emergency projects, assessing post-disaster needs and implementing recovery and resilience frameworks in Somalia, North-East Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Malawi and The Bahamas.
