Naichen is currently working as an energy data and analytics specialist within the World Bank Energy Global Practice. His work focuses on leading the development of a global open data platform - together with undertaking geospatial analysis in support to energy sector operations. Prior to joining the World Bank, Naichen worked on the geospatial electrification planning projects in Nigeria, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia at Columbia University. Naichen is a Chinese national holding a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University New York.
