Nancy Vandycke is Program Manager and Lead Economist in the Infrastructure Practice Group at the World Bank. She leads a portfolio of innovative and award-winning global programs, including the Sustainable Mobility for All (SuM4All) initiative, and the IE Connect for Impact program. She has dedicated the last decade to develop initiatives and projects that improve social inclusion and reduce the environmental impact of infrastructure investments and economic development. She has advised policymakers around the world on transport, energy, climate change, and sustainability economics. Before joining the World Bank, Nancy led policy research on global development issues at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (UK), and Russian European Centre for Economic Policy (Russia), and taught graduate economics at Georgetown University (US) and the London School of Economics (UK), where she obtained her Ph.D. in Economics.
