Nandita Roy is a Communication Officer with the World Bank’s India office. Currently, she is on a development assignment to the Bank’s Washington DC office, working with the External and Corporate Relations team in the Food and Agriculture Global Practice. Her current responsibilities include communicating the Bank’s work in the area of food and agriculture.
She brings several years of rich experience in the development sector and news reporting. She has authored a book - The Wasteland: Making of Grassroots Leaders. The book is about change agents living in remote rural areas of Southern Rajasthan, India.
Prior to her stint in the development sector, Nandita was a journalist and worked with various Delhi-based publications.
