Nandita Roy is an External Affairs Officer at the World Bank Group, where she communicates the institution’s work on human capital, gender, and social policy.
She is the author of The Wasteland: Making of Grassroots Leaders. The book is about change agents living in remote rural areas of Southern Rajasthan, India. She brings to her writing years of experience spanning journalism and the development sector.
Before joining the development sector, Nandita worked as a journalist with several India-based publications.
