Naved Chowdhury has been working in the field of International Development for last couple of decades. Starting his career in Bangladesh, he has worked across Africa, South and Southeast Asia and the Middle East. He is currently working as the Regional Education for Sahel with the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office based in Dakar. His country of responsibility includes Mali, Mauritania, Chad, Niger, and Burkina Faso. He was previously Head of Development at the UK Embassy in Niger. Naved’s particular interest include Refugee Education, Education Aid Architecture, and use of digital platform for delivery of education services.
