Neisan is an Associate at SecondMuse and an international strategy consultant with a passion for public-private partnerships, open data and entrepreneurship. Neisan is a lead for SecondMuse's Open Innovation Group, involved in civic engagement initiatives such as the National Day of Civic Hacking (partners: CodeforAmerica, Intel, Knight Foundation, Google, Yahoo) and New York’s Next Top Makers (New York City Economic Development Corporation). He has advised and developed innovation programs in collaboration with the US and German governments, focused on engaging citizens and the private sector through technology. Neisan has also implemented data-related programs internationally with organizations such as the World Bank and Intel Corporation. Before joining SecondMuse, Neisan was a consultant at the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) based out of Beijing, China. At GIZ, Neisan developed CSR and sustainability programs in collaboration with multinational corporations working across Asia to increase social, environmental and governance standards. Neisan is a business graduate from the University of Regensburg in Germany and the University of the Basque Country in Spain and currently lives in Washington DC.
