Nicholas joined the World Bank this year as a Human Development Analyst based in Cairo supporting the Human Capital agenda across health, education, and social protection programs in Egypt and Djibouti. His interest in understanding key inputs for sustainable trade-linked growth comes from his experiences in South Asia and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining the Bank Nicholas was a research assistant with the UN Office at Geneva and a part-timer with his municipality’s forest service. Nicholas is also part of the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) Program. Nicholas holds a Master’s in International Affairs from The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and an Honours BA in International Development Studies from McGill University.
