Nicolas Berthiaume is an independent consultant specialised in International Economics and International Development research. He has been a core contributor to various economic research projects for SEO Amsterdam Economics, an economic research institute, related to financial inclusion, capacity development, employment and migration, among other areas. Nicolas is also an associate consultant for the Institute for Development Impact (I4DI), a Washington-based consultancy. He has strong quantitative and qualitative research experience, which he put to use in a number of international development research projects commissioned by public and private clients as well as field work projects in East and West Africa. Nicolas holds an M.Sc. in International Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
