Nicolás Salazar Godoy is a Sustainable Development Consultant at the World Bank. Before joining the Bank in 2016, he worked as a temporarily appointed staff member at the Office United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Colombia, and for different research and advocacy organisations in the Middle East and North Africa region. Since he joined the Bank in 2016, he has supported the World Bank’s Programmatic Approach to Peace and Post-Conflict Consolidation in Colombia, and has produced cross-country analytical work on the intersections between illicit economies, development promotion and peace-building in fragility, conflict and violence-affected environments. Nicolás holds an MSc in Political Sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an Executive Diploma from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
