Nicoletta brings nearly two decades of UN experience, where she was responsible for communications on a broad range of topics at FAO, from fisheries resources to animal health, water and soil. As the first Communications Manager for UN-Water, she was instrumental in creating the UN-Water branding and identity as well as transforming World Water Day into a highly successful global campaign. Before coming to the CIF, Nicoletta was working in the Office of the Director, Corporate Communication as the Communication Coordinator for both FAO’s largest Strategic Program on Sustainable Food and Agriculture and FAO’s Agriculture Department. Prior to working for the UN she worked in the virtual reality industry and was an Expert Evaluator at the European Commission in the Industry and Technology Directorate.
Nicoletta has a BA in Multimedia Design and a Master’s degree in Health Communication from the University of Sydney's School of Public Health.
