Nicolette Bartlett is a Senior Programme Manager at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, where she is part of the team managing the Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group. She leads on the international outreach and engagement for the group and has responsible for developing the Corporate Leaders Network for Climate Action (CLN), an international network of business leadership groups focused on triggering the shift to low carbon, climate-resilient economies.
Over the past five years, she has also played a leading role in the creation of the Corporate Communiqués on Climate Change, which are seen by many as the definitive statements from the international progressive business community in support of climate change policy. Nicolette has been an author or reviewer for a number of the Institute’s publications, including a series of summary reports for business of the IPCC 5th Assessment Report for 11 economic sectors, as well as publications created for European governments, analysing the potential of international collaborative initiatives to increase ambition reductions internationally.
Prior to working at the Institute, Nicolette worked at a London-based recycling consultancy and was a consultant for one of the leading executive coaching and leadership consultancies in Europe. She holds a BSc (Natural Sciences) and an MSc in Human Ecology. She plays an advisory role for business groups in Brazil and Japan and represents the Director of the Institute on the University Environment Committee and an intra-disciplinary academic forum for sustainability.
