Nicolò Fraccaroli

Nicolò Fraccaroli is an Economist in the Finance, Competitiveness, & Investment Global Practice for Latin America and the Caribbean, and a Visiting Scholar at Brown University. He joined the Bank as a Young Professional in 2022. He works on topics related to central banking, banking supervision, financial stability and access to finance. He has published the book Inflation: A Guide for Users and Losers (Norton, 2025, with Mark Blyth) and Austerity vs Stimulus: The Political Future of Economic Recovery (Palgrave, 2017, with Robert Skidelsky). He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and an MSc in Political Economy of Europe from LSE.
