Nigara Abate is Communication Specialist with the Environment, Natural Resources, and Blue Economy (ENB) in the Europe and Central Asia (ECA) Sustainable Development Department of the World Bank. Nigara supports ECA ENB in developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies and activities including communication for flagship ASA. She has more than 15 years of experience in international development, including work in public health and environment in Central Asia. Nigara holds an MSc degree in development studies from University of London School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).
