Nina Dannaoui worked in Doing Business Resolving Insolvency indicator from January 2018 to May 2019. Prior to joining the Doing Business team, Ms. Dannaoui worked for the World Bank’s Finance & Markets Global Practice in the fields of anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT), financial inclusion, and Islamic finance. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Ms. Dannaoui worked as a legal consultant at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Washington, DC. She also worked as a litigator in Lebanon, focusing on trade and commercial law. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and a law degree from the Holy Spirit University in Lebanon. She is a member of the New York Bar Association and the Lebanese Bar Association. She speaks Arabic and French.
