Nina Tsydenova graduated in Sustainability Economics and Management (MA) in Germany. She has written her PhD thesis in University of Oldenburg (Germany) comparing different waste management scenarios for emerging countries focusing on Mexico. Before joining the World Bank, Nina Tsydenova was working at the project Metabolon in Germany where she researched regional closed loop solutions applying methods from Operations Research. In 2020 Nina joined the Global Practice Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy of the World Bank as Young Professional. During her rotation within the Young Professional Program, Nina was supporting the IFC Infrastructure team focusing on municipal waste projects in Asia. Now she continues working on projects with the Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy team in South Asia.
