Nistha Sinha is a Senior Economist in the Poverty and Equity Global Practice of the World Bank focusing on the topics of poverty and distributional impacts, labor markets, and gender equality. She currently works on these topics in the countries of Middle East and North Africa region. She earned a Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, and a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Washington, Seattle. Prior to joining the Bank, Ms. Sinha was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University’s Economic Growth Center.
