Noor Rahman is a Research Associate, who has been working with the World Bank’s Pakistan Gender Platform team for the last two years and works on the Women in the Workforce study to investigate female labor force participation in Pakistan. Noor also supports the Platform to bridge gender gaps through gender responsive interventions in various operations at the Bank. Her areas of interest include girls’ education, women’s mobility, affordable housing and gender responsive urban planning amongst others. She has also been involved in active efforts to advocate for women’s rights in public spaces and founded cycling groups for women in Lahore and Islamabad.
