Nora Anyidoho is a multi-faceted Ghanaian spoken word artist, Finance Professional, and Data Analyst. Her compelling works address socially conscious themes such as women's empowerment, Pan-Africanism, personal growth, and sustainable development. Notably, she won the 2022 World Bank #YouthActonEdu Spoken Word Competition with a poignant poem highlighting the Impact of Education in Africa.
Nora has delivered her performance poetry on esteemed international platforms, including the Rise Africa Action Festival and the Urban Natural Assets Initiative, both organized by ICLEI Africa. Her spoken word pieces have also graced literary societies and institutional ceremonies. She participated in various poetry fellowships and slams, including the West Oakland to West Africa Poetry Fellowship. Her poems have been featured in the anthology "Our Spirits Carry Our Voices," published by Pacific Raven Press, USA.
In addition to her artistic endeavours, Nora has honed her skills in data analytics and corporate finance. She is currently pursuing an IBM Certified Data Analyst Professional credential and was selected for the Women Techsters Data Science/AI Fellowship program (2024). On the finance front, she holds certifications in Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from the Corporate Finance Institute, as well as the Ghana Stock Exchange Securities. Her professional background encompasses financial modelling, valuation, investment advisory, and compliance.
Committed to giving back, Nora volunteers her time to meaningful causes and currently serves as the Head of Finance for the PLO Lumumba Foundation, Ghana Chapter. She is also an alumna of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Centre’s Fellowship for West Africa. In her free time, Nora loves to travel, read novels, cook and draw.
