Novira is a Financial Management Specialist (FMS) currently stationed in The World Bank Office Jakarta, where she works closely on projects within the urban, transport, finance, and health sectors. Additionally, she had also supported projects based in East Timor and Vietnam and currently responsible in providing Quality Assurance to projects in China and the Philippines. She has also been involved in Indonesia central and sub-national government’s PEFA exercises, where she focused on internal control and internal audit performance indicators. Since 2010, she concentrated in facilitating improvement of internal control and internal audit practice for public sector in Indonesia. As a result, the Indonesian government implements the COSO framework for internal control and achieved level 3 of Internal Audit Capability Model (IA-CM) for internal audit practice. Novira is currently the Task Team Leader (TTL) for modernizing internal audit practices in Indonesia.
