Obaa Akua Konadu is a Consultant in the World Bank’s Social Protection & Labor (AFR3) unit, supporting activities on the Human Capital Review ASA. She was also a 2022 Africa Fellow. Obaa Akua is a gender and youth specialist and has worked previously in civil society on issues relating to youth development, policy advocacy and sustainable development. Obaa Akua completed her PhD in Business Management and Administration at the Stellenbosch Business School, South Africa. She holds a MSc in Development Administration and Planning from the University College London (UCL), United Kingdom and a BSc Development Planning from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. She is a corporate member of the Ghana Institute of Planners.
