Odete Muximpua is a water and sanitation specialist in the East Africa Region. She joined the World Bank in 2011, where she has been working on operations and knowledge development on water, urban development, agriculture, and environment. Currently, she is managing water supply and sanitation projects in Malawi and Mozambique and provides support to some water resources projects in the region. Prior to joining the World Bank, Odete worked as a lecturer and researcher at Eduardo Mondlane University, as a water resources engineer in private consultancy firms, and a researcher at the Ministry of Science and Technology in the Government of Mozambique.
