Olena Bogdan is an economist with a cross-disciplinary expertise in global and regional economies, capital flows, and international relations. Olena is currently a Young Professional at the Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment Global Practice in the Europe and Central Asia region. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2018, Olena worked as a policy researcher at the RAND Corporation where she analyzed regional, national and international economics, national security issues, and socio-economic interventions in the U.S. and around the world. Olena holds a Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Houston.
