Olga Briukhova is a Swiss Finance Institute PhD candidate in Finance at the University of Zurich. Her research focuses on the effects of financial regulation on financial stability taking into account banks and nonbank financial institutions. In particular, she works on the topics of macroprudential policy tools and bank capital requirements, systemic risk and complex networks as well as derivatives markets and central clearing. She holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Bonn (Germany) and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russian Federation).
