Olga Guerrero is a Health Specialist at the World Bank’s Health, Nutrition and Population team for West and Central Africa region. She currently works as co-team lead for Sub-Saharan African Women’s Empowerment and Demographic Dividend Project Plus (SWEDD+), leading the Project’s learning agenda and contributing to other health system strengthening and multisectoral operations in the region. Prior to that, she worked in the East Africa team and was based in Mozambique. Prior to joining the WB, Olga held various field-based positions for national and international NGOs in Southern Africa, managing infectious diseases and sexual and reproductive health projects. Olga holds an BSc Economics from the University of Bristol in the UK and holds and MA from the School of Oriental and African Studies and an MPH from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
