Olga Nottmeyer is Managing Editor for IZA World of Labor. She holds a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and a Diploma in Economics. Mrs. Nottmeyer received her PhD in Economics from the Free University Berlin in 2011 as part of the Graduate Center of Economic and Social Research at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin). After her PhD she joined IZA – the Institute for the Study of Labor – and was associate lecturer at the Berlin School of Economics and Laws (HWR). Her main research interests are Economics of Migration and Labor Economics. In her research, she focused on interethnic marriages and its labor market implications for immigrants in Germany.
