Olha Krushelnytska

Sustainable Finance Specialist

Olha Krushelnytska is a Sustainable Finance Specialist in the Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation Global Practice at the World Bank Group, working on greening the financial system. She is also the Coordinator for the Mobilizing Private Finance workstream for the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action, and her publications are available here.  She first joined the World Bank in 2006 and held several positions in impact investing, environmental management, and financial policy reform, taking several years in between to work for ERM Hong Kong and UNHCR Kyiv.

Olha is also a Treasurer and a Board Director at The Ocean Foundation, working on ocean impact financing, and a faculty member at the University of California, Berkeley, where she teaches sustainable finance summer course.

Olha holds a CFA designation and Master degrees from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and Lviv University, and was a fellow at Kiel, Harvard and Duke Universities. Olha speaks on the topics of green finance and women leadership and is fluent in English, Spanish and Ukrainian. She designed and conducted green finance workshops for more than 1,700 experts, policy makers, business executives and other professionals from 132 countries.
