Olivier Vidal is a Housing Finance Specialist in the long term finance unit of the World Bank Group. In this capacity, Olivier support a variety of housing finance lending operations and technical assistance projects in sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East, Latin America and South East asia. Prior to his move to Washington, Olivier was for 4 years the Francophone Program Manager of the Centre for Affordable Housing Finance in Africa (CAHF) in Johannesburg. Before joining CAHF, he worked for six years in Tunis and Abidjan for the African Development Bank in the Financial Sector Development department as a financial sector advisor. He is a citizen of Niger and France and holds a Master's degree in economics and international development from the Institute of Political Studies - Sciences-Po Toulouse, France.
