Omer Zang is a World Bank Senior Health Specialist based in the Africa Region, with close to 15 years across many countries in the region. He led many analytical works and operations, including in fragile and conflict-affected settings. He is based in Burundi since July 2021 and led the operation financing the COVID19 emergency response in the country. Omer is a Ph.D graduate from University of Dschang in Cameroon.
