Omoniyi (Niyi) Alimi is a 2022 WBG-Africa Fellow (Education Global Practice). His research interests span the areas of education, poverty, inequality, and the distributional consequences of changes in demographic trends. Omoniyi holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Waikato in New Zealand and a bachelor’s degree in Demography and Social Statistics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
