Ondina Rocca was an Urban Specialist for the Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience Global Practice. She worked for five years in the urban development sector at the World Bank in Washington. Her focus was on solid waste and water management projects, as well as housing and slum upgrading projects in Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia, Peru and Mexico. Before joining the Bank, she worked as a research intern at the Atmospheric Modelling Laboratory in Chile. She holds a BSC in Mathematics from King’s College London and an MSc in Environmental Engineering with Sustainable Development from Imperial College.
