Genden Pagma is an Operations Officer in the Health, Nutrition and Population (HNP) Global Practice at the World Bank. She joined the World Bank Group in 2013 as Extended Term Consultant. She is responsible for coordination of the WBG activities in health and education sectors of Mongolia. She is an economist with a broad project management experience. Over 1998-2013, she worked on poverty alleviation and sustainable livelihoods projects funded by the WBG and Swiss Development Cooperation Agency in Mongolia. Previously she also worked for the Government of Mongolia and participated in the policy and legislation development and implementation of national programs on poverty and unemployment reduction, and social protection. Pagma holds a M.A. in Business Administration from Institute of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia and a B.A. in Labor Economy from the Economic University of Irkutsk, Russia.
