Pallavi leads the IFC’s South Asia Inclusive Business Program that focuses on creating sustainable impact at the Base of Pyramid through systemic and transformational work on ground. She played an integral role in setting up the joint World Bank-IFC program and is leading key interventions for the inclusive business and impact investing industry, as well as supporting IFC inclusive business investments for profitability and south-south replication. Prior to this, she successfully implemented the World Bank's Development Marketplace initiative that provides funding and technical assistance to innovative development solutions for delivering basic services to the poor. She received the 2014 South Asia VPU Award for her contribution.
Pallavi has several years of consulting, operations and project management experience with regional experience in South Asia and Africa. She started her career working in the corporate sector before transitioning to development sector and most recently worked in senior management roles with the Hindua Group of Companies where she was a part of the prestigious Hinduja Leadership Program. Pallavi holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science and a Master's in Business Administration from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
