Dr. Parisa Kamali is a resident in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Netherlands. As a member of the International Federation of Medical Students Association (IFMSA), Dr. Kamali worked in a variety of low-resource countries and organized multiple national and international global surgery conferences. She worked as a senior Research Fellow at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School for several years focusing on health disparities. Dr. Kamali has been involved in the organization and coordination of the World Bank Surgical Indicators projects. She additionally coordinated the 2017 Healthcare Workforce data collection as part of the WHO healthcare workforce team.
