Parvathy Krishnan is an AI and Data Science Specialist with over 10 years of experience developing and scaling responsible AI solutions across health, agriculture, and governance sectors in low and middle-income countries. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Analytics for a Better World and as a Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Consultant for the World Bank Group, she specializes in identifying high-impact AI use cases, driving proof-of-concept experiments, and transitioning them into scalable, policy-aligned platforms. Prior to these roles, Parvathy led AI initiatives at the United Nations Development Programme and conducted research at premier research institutions such as National University of Singapore, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. Parvathy holds an Engineering Doctorate in Data Science from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, a Master of Technology in Energy Management and Climate from Jain University in India and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Amrita University in India.
