Patricia Paskov is an Analyst in the Impact Evaluation Unit of the Development Research Group. She carries experience designing and conducting research and impact evaluations with academics and governments across Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and The United States in a range of sectors, including governance, education, health, gender, agriculture, and social inclusion. Previously, she worked with the World Bank's Africa Gender Innovation Lab; the World Bank's Mind, Behavior, and Development Unit (eMBeD); Innovations for Poverty Action Peru; and an IGC-funded research initiative to increase civil service productivity and decrease corruption in Paraguay. Patricia completed her Masters degree in Economics at Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, and her undergraduate dual-degree in Applied Economics and Latin American American Studies at The University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research interests center around individual and societal formation of norms, preferences, and beliefs -- and how policymakers can harness these insights to engender large-scale shifts towards development.
