Patrick Belser is Senior Economist at the International Labour Office (ILO) in Geneva, and is the principal editor of the ILO Global Wage Report, an ILO flagship report published every two years since 2008. He has a D.Phil. in Economics from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Sussex, and has previously worked on the economic dimensions of forced labour and human trafficking.
