Paul Clare is the External Affairs Lead for Poverty & Equity at the World Bank, based in Washington, DC. Prior to taking up this position in 2022, Paul spent several years with the Europe and Central Asia region at the Bank. A highly experienced communications professional with a passion for social and economic development, Paul has more than twenty years of experience working for global organizations. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2012, Paul worked for the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), based in Paris. Paul specializes in Strategic Communications, Digital Communications, Media Relations, Editorial Campaigns, Impact Evaluation, and Social Media. He has studied Journalism and International Relations, and holds a Master Degree in New Media, Governance & Democracy.
