Paula Sierra Vélez is a Social Development consultant, working for the World Bank in the Latin American region supporting the work on migration. Before working for the Bank, she spent many years as a public servant in both Colombia and Mexico, developing and implementing programs to promote the social inclusion of vulnerable populations and the exercise of sexual and reproductive rights. She also worked in an immigrant day laborer´s community-based organization in New York City and an indigenous association in Ecuador.
