Paulin Balungwe Shamavu is a Public Sector Specialist with the World Bank’s Institutions Practice based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Prior to joining the World Bank in 2023, he worked with the Congolese Government, in the Department of Treasury of the Ministry of Finance, and in the Office of the Prime Minister. He graduated in economics from the Catholic University of Bukavu and holds a master’s degree in economic policy management from the University of Kinshasa.
