Pauline Deschryver is an Associate Investment Officer, in the Upstream Infrastructure department for the Middle East and Africa region at IFC, based in Nairobi (currently working remotely from France).
Pauline has experience in sustainable finance, strategy consulting and infrastructure investment. She first worked on development finance for the French Government, at the service of the Prime minister in coordination with the European Union. She then joined a consulting firm dedicated to fragile and post-conflict countries in West and East Africa, with a focus on sovereign advisory. She designed and supported several strategies in energy, tourism and entrepreneurship development. Pauline is passionate by green and sustainable finance, and how to embed environmental, social and governance criteria into infrastructure investments. She has published several journal articles on this topic and was a sustainable fellow at Morgan Stanley specializing on green fixed-income products.
She is an alumna from HEC Paris, Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University (SIPA).
