Pauline Kennedy has 15 years of experience in economic policy analysis and advice, with a focus on climate change mitigation and carbon markets. She is a Senior Carbon Finance Specialist at the World Bank, where she is responsible for leading the technical work program of the Partnership for Market Readiness. Prior to joining the World Bank. she worked for the Australian Government and had a lead role in the design of its previous carbon pricing policy. She was also Australia’s lead negotiator in the UNFCCC on carbon markets. Pauline was also member of the Executive Board for the Clean Development Mechanism. She has a Master’s degree in economics from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor's degree in agriculture and resource economics from La Trobe University
