Pedro Cerdan-Infantes is a Senior Economist with the education Global Practice at the World Bank. He is currently based in Bogotá, where he leads the Bank’s broad engagement in education in the country. Before working in Colombia, he spent 6 years in Indonesia and Thailand, where he led studies and projects in early childhood education, basic and tertiary education. Since he arrived in Colombia, he has focused the Bank’s efforts in education on supporting the government in improving the quality of education at all levels, including socioemotional skills. In addition to his experience at the World Bank, he also spent two years at the Inter American Development Bank, based in Washington DC. HE holds a B.A in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Spain and a Masters in Public Administration ion International Development (MPAID) from the Harvard Kennedy School.
