Perica Vrboski is a Trade Facilitation Consultant with the Trade Facilitation Support Program (TFSP) in Europe and Central Asia (ECA). He started working with the World Bank Group in January 2013. Perica has over 10 years of experience in both the public and private sectors.
His career started in 2007 as an Economic Associate in the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economic affairs with the Government of North (N.) Macedonia. He was Involved in many projects aimed at improving the business climate, including robust regulatory reform projects. Perica was also involved in the EU accession process of N. Macedonia as Coordinator of the Chapter for Economic Criteria of the National Programme for Adoption of the Acquis Communautaire (NPAA). During his career, he also served as a Chief of Staff of the Minister of Education and Science.
As an independent consultant, he was employed on various projects by IBRD and IFC. Previously, he has been a member of the business development team at the AAG – Analysis and Advisory Group - a consulting firm in Skopje. His main activities were focused on business (strategic) planning, developing investment plans, and introducing corporate governance best practices in private and public companies.
Perica has an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.
