Dr. Peter Pete McIntyre is a professor at the University of Madison Wisconsin’s Center for Limnology. His research team currently works on aquatic conservation, biodiversity, and sustainability issues in Wisconsin Rivers, the Great Lakes of North America and East Africa, and Hawaiian streams. Previous projects have been conducted in Michigan, Virginia, Venezuela, Madagascar, Uganda, Gabon, and Republic of Congo. He has a special interest in global syntheses related to freshwater biodiversity and water resources. He also studies the state of and controls on inland freshwater fisheries.
