Peter Warutere is a communications officer for the World Bank based in Nairobi, working on Kenya, Eritrea and Somalia. He also works on governance related programs. He holds an MPhil from the Maastricht School of Management in Netherlands, an MA (Economics) in development economics from the University of Manchester, UK, and BEd from the University of Nairobi. Before joining the Bank, he had a distinguished career as a media manager and an economics writer with local and international publications.
