Philip Cockerill is a statistician in the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. He manages a programming and engagement portfolio which aims to improve the availability and use of data to make progress against the sustainable development goals. He has over 15 years’ experience as an adviser, supporting the use of data in development and humanitarian contexts in Africa, the Middle East and in the international statistical system.
