Phyrum Kov is a senior water supply and sanitation specialist at the World Bank based in Cambodia. Over the past 18 years in the Bank, he has led a number of technical assistances on water supply and sanitation focusing on sector strategy, action plan, institutional capacity, regulations, monitoring and evaluation, decentralization and private sector engagement. He currently leads two water supply and sanitation projects in Cambodia supporting the government and utilities in expanding water supply and sanitation infrastructure and improving service provision; and co-leads a multi-Global Practice operation in Viet Nam. He also pioneers regulatory and tariff reform agenda in the sector. Phyrum holds a masters degree in infrastructure planning from the Toyohashi University of Technology in Japan.
