Pierre is a Country Economist in Macroeconomics, Trade, and Investment Global Practice at the World Bank. He completed his PhD in Political Economy at CERDI in 2017.
Pierre’s research initially focused on political economy and fiscal macroeconomics issues using applied econometrics techniques. In 2020, he wrote a book on direct democracy, sovereignty, and classical republicanism. He has co-authored several peer-review papers. His current research develops several meta-regression analyses and take advantage of innovative data to answer various development-oriented questions. See his full research page here.
