Pierre is an Economist at the World Bank Group (since July 2022), where he currently contributes to the Fiscal Policy & Growth (FPG) Global Practice and works within the Trade Policy and Facilitation Unit. He is also a Research Fellow at CERDI, France (since February 2024).
Pierre holds a Ph.D. in Economics from CERDI (2017). His research spans applied econometrics, geospatial data, political economy, and institutional economics. He is the author of a book on direct democracy, sovereignty, and classical republicanism and has co-authored peer-reviewed papers in several Q1 journals, including the Journal of Peace Research and World Development.
